Cary Handelman

Cary Handelman manages the back office at Meyer Handelman Company, overseeing the operational infrastructure that supports the firm’s investment and client service activities. His responsibilities include trade settlement, account transfers, custodial coordination, and reconciliation—ensuring that every transaction is executed accurately and in a timely manner. Cary also supports asset movement logistics, and the operational workflows that keep MHCo’s multi-family office running seamlessly behind the scenes.

Cary earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Trinity College in Hartford and holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from New York University. His combination of analytical rigor and an understanding of human behavior serves him well in a role that demands both precision and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Outside of work, Cary is an avid runner and a devoted New York Yankees fan. His love of running is a tradition shared with his late father, Joe Handelman—a second-generation leader of MHCo who remained a dedicated marathon runner until the age of 80.
