James Fludgate is a Portfolio Implementation Associate at Meyer Handelman Company, where he is responsible for executing equity trades across the firm’s client portfolios. Working closely with the investment team, James ensures that each order is implemented with precision and in full alignment with each family’s portfolio strategy—bringing analytical discipline and market awareness to the trading desk as an integral part of MHCo’s investment process.
Before joining MHCo in January 2024, James developed a strong foundation in investment research and sector analysis. At Marist College, he was selected to manage capital within a student-led investment fund tied to the college’s endowment, where he served as lead analyst for the Consumer Staples and Materials sectors—gaining hands-on experience in fundamental research, portfolio construction, and sector coverage. He also holds the FINRA Series 7 license and additional FINRA certifications, and brings prior internship experience in the alternative assets industry. James holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Marist College.
